Surfing legend Tamayo Perry has died following a shark attack in Oahu, Hawaii. Perry, who appeared in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film, was 49 years old.
Perry was surfing at a popular spot on the North Shore of Oahu when he was attacked by a shark. He was found with several shark bites and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Perry was a well-known surfer and lifeguard. He also appeared in the movie Blue Crush.
The shark that attacked Perry has not been identified.
